Hello!

My name is Brittney, I just wanted to share a little bit about myself. I'm a Girl Mom to three beautiful daughters, Fallyn, Berkeley, and Salem. In another lifetime I was a hair stylist for many of years. So from time to time I might share my obsession with Dry Shampoo and nail polish. I really wanted to create this blog to share books and my love for all things bookish. Knowing me I might share a few other things and get off track but the main focus is books. I thought I would share the story of when I fell in love with books to kick things off!

I remember the day very well. My Mom and I were at the local mall and it just so happened they had a huge used book sale in the center where you would usually find the kiosks. As we browsed the books my Mom came across a series that she had read when she was younger Trixie Belden. What may have only been a few seemed like a ton to me at the time and she splurged and bought them for me. I went home and devoured that first book Trixie Belden The Secret Of The Mansion. I continued reading my way threw them and fell in love with the setting and the characters.

Throughout the years I have moved and those books have left my bookshelf, I'm actually devastated by it. One day they will sit on my shelves once again and I can share the adventures of Trixie with my girls.
